Fundraising - 2015 Calendars
Sri
Sankalpam Management wishes all the donors, IDPL School Alumni,
teachers, staff and students "A Happy and Prosperous New Year 2015 !!"
Sri Sankalpam has initiated a fund raising campaign to sell 2015 Calendars with art work done by the students.
They
are now available in India and US. Price is minimal. Also this is
encouragement to the kids, and raising much needed funds for our school.

Academics
Half yearly examinations were conducted for all Primary Classes during the month of December.
However, for Classes VI to X, half yearly examinations were postponed by the Government to the month of January. The students have to answer the common question papers which will be sent by the Telangana State Board. Syllabus was completed in all classes as per planned schedule and revision was also given to all the students.

Management of Sri Sankalpam is always grateful to all
our donors for their kind support over the last couple of years. Your
support will make this initiative run for many more years to come .
There are many ways to help, sponsor a kid (towards their yearly
educational expenses) for an year, general donation towards a project,
in kind help, used laptops/computers donations, volunteer your time,
spread the word about Sri Sankalpam/IDPL school among your

Volunteer Activities
Satya Sai Seva Samiti
organized an event for all the School Students in and around Balanagar.
52 of our Students participated in this event called “Walk for Values”
on 14th December.
Also in December, Lions’ Club organized an Eye Camp in the School. All the Students were examined. Some of them were referred to Doctors

Student Achievements
Our School Cricket Team played a series of matches organized by Quthbullapur Cricket Association during the 2nd and 3rd
Week of December. They were adjudged as First Runners Up. 8 Boys of
IDPL School were selected to play for “under 14” Telangana Cricket Team.
N. Karthik won the best bowler title for the series. He is in Class IX.
His sister N.Tulsi (Class VI) is also our student. These kids do not
have parents and are looked after by maternal grandparents. Their
grandfather works in the kiln. Despite the hardships, Karthik is good at
studies and is exceptionally good at Cricket.

Miscellaneous
CAMC
Balanagar police CID department has been instrumental in giving directions to schools to form - Child
Abuse Monitoring Committee (CAMC). As per the directions, CAMC
committee has been formed in our school. School Principal , along with
several teachers are part of this committee. Members of this committee
are :

A
few sessions were conducted for girl children and mothers to create
awareness. Posters on this topic are also displayed in the School. All
the students are made to understand that they should approach the CAMC
members in case of any problem
Christmas
The School celebrated Christmas on 23rd December with Songs and dances during the morning assembly.
